Kelly Farnham
From 2009 to 2012, she took on the additional role of Advertising & Sales Manager for Amembal’s joint project, World Leasing News. With this new position, Kelly not only developed her sales and marketing experience, but she also learned creative design and, eventually, HTML for the purposes of maintaining/changing the website and preparing e-marketing newsletters — knowledge and experience which has been transferred to A&H itself. In 2012, Ms. Farnham administered A&H’s first operating lease conference — a conference that has become an annual event for the company. During this time, she also took over the seminar and conference presentations/workbooks for the company and has designed and implemented the company’s new database.
Kelly came to the company with an extensive background in accounting, taxation, systems and design, database management, office applications expertise, and business administration. Her leasing experience stems from her many years in accounting and is from the “informed” lessee side of things. She has designed and implemented capital asset spreadsheets for use in accounting, tax and depreciation, lease/buy analyses, budgeting and pro formas, fleet management, inter-jurisdiction tax on equipment/equipment use, etc. Kelly has also been responsible for the periodically required reviews and negotiation of lease contracts pertaining to new/renewals/buyouts.
Ms. Farnham has worked in various industries, SMEs to large corporates and has, in addition to accounting, worked in main corporate departments such as IT and Human Resources. Kelly has held positions from Office Manager through financial controllerships. For 8 years, Ms. Farnham also ran her own successful small accounting and tax business, where she also trained clients privately in various accounting packages (ACCPAC, Great Plains, QuickBooks, Peachtree), “accounting 101,” and office applications including Microsoft Office.
Kelly enjoys participating in classic dance disciplines and is an animal welfare supporter.
